Meet your small skip

Four sizes.
One less thing to think about.

Start with the job, then choose the space.
Our entire range is 2–8 yards, so a bigger skip never becomes the default.

Capacity is only part of the picture. Waste weight and access matter too.Take a closer look at a 4-yard skip

You don’t need to know skips. Just tell us what you’re clearing and where it needs to go. Start with a size that suits the job, then confirm the practical details.

  • Think about bulky items as well as volume
  • Tell us about soil, rubble or heavy materials
  • Check the space for the skip and the delivery lorry

Load it right

Know what goes in.
Before you begin.

Tell us what you’re clearing. The waste type matters just as much as the skip size, and acceptance must be agreed before booking.

Everyday project waste

Usually suitable when agreed:

  • Non-hazardous household clutter
  • Wood and timber
  • Garden cuttings
  • Light renovation waste

Let’s check first

May need a separate waste route:

  • Soil, rubble and concrete
  • Plasterboard
  • Mattresses and carpets
  • Upholstered seating and electricals

Keep these out

Excluded from standard skip hire:

  • Asbestos or suspected asbestos
  • Paint, liquids and chemicals
  • Gas bottles and batteries
  • Fuel, oil and clinical waste

Keep loads level with the rim. Heavy waste has weight limits; upholstered seating and electricals must not go into a standard mixed load without an agreed authorised route.

A place for your skip.

On private land

A driveway is often the simplest option. Get the landowner’s permission and check access and the surface before delivery.

On the public road

You’ll need the correct council permission. Notice periods, fees and parking arrangements vary by location.
