Tell us what you’re clearing. The waste type matters just as much as the skip size, and acceptance must be agreed before booking.

Everyday project waste

Usually suitable when agreed:

  • Non-hazardous household clutter
  • Wood and timber
  • Garden cuttings
  • Light renovation waste

Keep these out

Excluded from standard skip hire:

  • Asbestos or suspected asbestos
  • Paint, liquids and chemicals
  • Gas bottles and batteries
  • Fuel, oil and clinical waste

Keep loads level with the rim. Heavy waste has weight limits; upholstered seating and electricals must not go into a standard mixed load without an agreed authorised route.

A driveway is often the simplest option. Get the landowner’s permission and check access and the surface before delivery.

On the public road

You’ll need the correct council permission. Notice periods, fees and parking arrangements vary by location.

Make room, then fill your skip

The lorry lowers the skip into the agreed space. Load only accepted waste and keep it below the fill line.

Call when it is ready

Call 0330 912 9966 to agree a collection date. Keep access clear so the lorry can lift and take away the skip.

Road permits can take longer than next day. Your hire period is agreed when booking; collection is arranged when you call.
