From your first call to collection
How skip hire works.
Call to choose your skip, arrange delivery and agree how long you need it.

1. Call with your address and waste
Call 0330 912 9966 with your postcode, what you are clearing and your preferred delivery day. Choose from 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-yard skips, or ask for help comparing sizes.
Mention bulky items, heavy soil or rubble, and anything that may need separate disposal. We’ll discuss the full price, accepted waste and loading limits before you book.
2. Agree delivery and the hire period
Next-day delivery is available. Call to confirm the slot for your address and explain where the skip will stand. A road permit or parking permission may take longer, so these must be in place before delivery.
The included hire period is agreed on the booking call. Confirm your delivery date, how long you need the skip, the total price and any charge for extra days.
3. Make room for the delivery lorry
Clear the agreed space and the route to it. Tell us about narrow gates, soft ground, parked cars and overhead branches or cables. Agree whether someone needs to be there to provide access.
The delivery lorry lowers the skip into the agreed position. A small skip still needs enough room for the vehicle and its lifting equipment. Do not move the skip yourself afterwards.
4. Fill it safely, below the rim
Load only the waste accepted in your booking. Keep everything within the sides and below the marked fill line, and stay within the agreed weight allowance.
Call before adding a different material, an unusually heavy item or anything you are unsure about. A larger container does not mean it can take unlimited rubble or soil.
5. Phone when you are ready for collection
Call 0330 912 9966 when you have finished filling the skip. Give your booking name and address, then agree the collection date. Pickup is arranged by phone; a full skip does not automatically trigger a visit.
Keep the route clear so the lorry can lift the skip and take the load away. If you need more time, call before the hire period or road permit ends to discuss an extension.
