From a plan to a clearer space.
A little preparation makes delivery and collection easier. Here is the journey to agree with the supplying operator.

Agree the details
Confirm the price, access, placement and included hire period.

Make room for delivery
Have the agreed position clear and any road permission in place.

Load, then arrange collection
Keep within the fill and weight limits. Confirm when it is ready to go.
Choose a starting size.
Compare 2, 4, 6 and 8 yards. Think about the biggest items, total volume and heavy materials. If you are between sizes, list what you are clearing and ask for guidance.
There is no benefit in choosing a larger skip that cannot take the planned weight or fit the delivery location. Eight yards is the maximum size we offer.
Confirm the booking details.
Agree the full price, accepted waste, loading limit, included days and collection process. Check which business you are contracting with and who will supply the skip and carry the waste.
Any date discussed on the phone is a preference until the supplying operator confirms it. Agree the price, waste and delivery arrangements before making a booking.
Prepare the position and approach.
Get permission for private land and check the surface is suitable. Send the operator the access measurements they request: the gate, route, turning area and any overhead obstruction all matter.
Keep parked cars and stored materials out of the agreed delivery space. Arrange road permission in advance where needed. A small skip still arrives on a delivery vehicle that needs safe access.
Load to the agreed limits.
Keep the load level and stable, with nothing projecting beyond the container. Follow the agreed waste and weight instructions; do not add a material that was not included in the quote without checking first.
If the project changes or you uncover restricted waste, contact the supplying operator before continuing. Extra capacity, a different waste route or an exchange may need to be arranged.
Arrange collection and any extension.
Check whether collection is scheduled or needs to be requested. Keep the approach clear for the collection vehicle and tell the operator if site access has changed.
For extra days, agree the cost and any permit extension before the current arrangement expires. Do not assume the skip can remain on the road just because collection has not yet happened.
