Small skip hire prices
A small skip. A clear quote.
The useful price is the full price for your job. Start with your postcode, what you’re clearing and where the skip will stand.
Have your postcode handy. We’ll talk through the size, waste and delivery details.
What changes the price?
A 2-yard garden tidy and an 8-yard bulky clear-out are different jobs. The quote needs to account for the amount and type of waste, the supplying operator, your address and the hire period. A postcode alone does not confirm a price or availability.
We have not added “from” prices because supplier rates have not been verified. Call 0330 912 9966 with your postcode, waste and preferred size to discuss a quote.
What should be included?
Ask for an itemised total before agreeing to the hire. A low headline price is difficult to compare if the collection or permit is added later.
- Delivery to the agreed address and collection from the agreed position
- The skip size, permitted waste and weight allowance
- The included hire period and how collection is booked
- Whether VAT is included, where applicable
- Any road permit, parking arrangement or separate waste charge
Ask about extras before delivery.
Possible extra costs include keeping the skip longer, a failed delivery because access is blocked, an overweight load or material outside the agreed waste description. These are questions for the quote, not charges we are claiming apply to every supplier.
If you might need an exchange, ask how the first collection and replacement delivery would be charged. Our largest container is 8 yards; an exchange still needs availability and access to be agreed.
Road placement has its own details.
A road permit is separate from the waste service. Confirm the responsible council, approved dates, fee and who applies. If parking restrictions affect the position, ask whether another permission is needed.
A longer hire period does not automatically extend a road permission. Agree both before keeping the skip beyond the original dates.
Get the details together once.
List the main materials and bulky items, choose an initial size and describe the position. Include access restrictions and your preferred dates. If you are unsure about a material, describe it rather than leaving it out of the enquiry.
Call 0330 912 9966 to talk through those details. Availability, accepted waste and the full price must be confirmed before you book.
