How do I tell you the skip is ready?
Call 0330 912 9966. Have your booking name, delivery address and contact number ready. Tell us you have finished loading and mention any change to access since delivery.
There is no need to wait until the skip is completely full. If the job is finished, phone to arrange collection of the agreed load.
When will the skip be picked up?
We’ll agree the collection date when you call. Please give us any deadline, such as building work starting or a road permit expiring, so it can be discussed before a date is confirmed.
Next-day delivery is available for new bookings, but collection has its own schedule. Do not assume a full skip will be collected automatically or that a delivery offer sets your pickup date.
How does the collection work?
A collection lorry needs clear access to the skip and enough space for its lifting equipment. The driver lifts the skip onto the vehicle and takes the load away.
Move parked cars and other obstacles out of the route. Keep the lifting points clear and everything inside the skip’s sides, below the fill line. Do not leave extra waste beside the container.
Do I need to be there?
Agree this when arranging collection. Tell us if someone needs to unlock a gate, move a vehicle or guide the driver to the correct entrance.
If you cannot provide the access agreed, call before the collection visit so another arrangement can be discussed.
Need longer, or another skip?
Call before the included hire period ends if the job is running late. Extra days and any added cost must be agreed. A road permit may also need extending before its current end date.
If you have more waste than the skip can safely take, stop loading and call. We can discuss collection and a replacement skip, with a new price and delivery date agreed before booking.
