Identify the frontage and the nearest crossing when explaining a possible road position. The council and supplier must decide whether it is suitable; proximity to a property is not enough. If you have access to a private yard instead, check who controls it and whether residents, customers or bins need the same route. Leave those needs visible in your enquiry rather than discovering them after a date has been agreed.
For an upper-floor clear-out, measure bulky items against doors and landings before choosing a capacity. Decide who will carry them and how the common entrance will remain usable. Skip delivery does not automatically include a labour service.
