Match the hire dates to the actual position
For work at a Main Street property or premises near The Cross, settle whether the skip could stand on private land or would need a road position. If another occupier controls the rear area, get their agreement before using that space in an enquiry.
A road arrangement needs time for the council application. Do not assume a short clear-out means a same-day permit: plan the application before fixing the skip delivery, and allow for collection within the agreed permission period.

Describe a refit in two parts
For a kitchen or room refit, make one list of bulky units and fittings and another of dense tiles, masonry or soil. Tell the supplier about plasterboard and electrical items separately.
